Yeah pretty much.

The American at heart is a very scared person. Terrified of their own shadow.

You just have to watch how easily manipulated they are with a hint of fear. Look at how they lost their shit when some people of colour protested.

They yearn for a strong man to tell them what to do. Trump isn't a strong man but he actsike one. And that's good enough for half the population.

In short. Yes. 911 broke America. Bin Laden defeated the United States.

Or nah?

From the outside, it seems like America isn't anything close to as respected or as admired as it was in the '90s and before.

Seems like the country is far more divided and generally worse off, too. Political polarisation, rise of conspiracy shit, wealth divide, opioid epidemic, mortgage crisis, etc etc etc.

Do you think it seems like 9/11 was the start of the decline and fall?

Or not so much?

Our home secretary is of Asian descent. Our health secretary is of Asian decent our chancellor of the exchequer is of Asian descent our business secretary is black.

What's your point?

Prince Harry married a mixed race American person too.

We are pretty much perfect thanks.
No racism here.
Harry left the family because his grandmother did a racism.

Correct. Cosby has taken the same take but it's a bit problematic for many people who haven't reached their success.
I'd like us to get to a point where that's true. But those terms existing simply acknowledge the realities of the past and the need for continued improvement.
Europeans largely views those terms as existing as creating racism. I'd agree with that if black America didn't want the term and we were pushing it upon them as a label. But it's quite the opposite.
It brought joy to my heart when the French called out that race-baiting asshole Trevor Noah for being a racist. France won the football World Cup, and Noah made jokes about "Africa won the World Cup" and "thank you, Africa" and such.

“I get it, they have to say it’s the French team,” said Noah, who is black and South African. “But look at those guys. You don’t get that tan by hanging out in the South of France, my friends.”

The French ambassador to the US called him out for being a racist hypocrite, since the black players are French. There is no such thing as African-French, either you are French or you are not. The ambassador told Noah that it was extremely offensive for him to deny the player's Frenchness because their skin was too dark for HIS ignorant idea of what a French man apparently MUST look like.

Of course, Noah doubled down and didn't apologise or admit error or fault at all. But, it was still nice to see him explicitly called out for his racist bullshit.

The 60s were the beginning of the fall

From the public perception of drug use to immigration to liberals taking positions in colleges pushing anti American bullshit

The seventies brought on the rise of urban gangs and a disgusting culture that shaped the 80s crack epidemic and further spread of urban crime. This was popularized by the people who own the media and used it to brainwash millions of youth into wanting to be like the fake rappers they see.

You can see the effect of this in every major city now. Crime, homelessness, drug use which the media always excuses and promises changes and has someone else to blame. You.

I genuinely find your epidemic of homelessness confusing. Some of these people have actual jobs. But they are still homeless.

Such a brutal place to live. Don't go slipping in America because if you do you're fucked. Even your religion over there is hateful. The evangelicals are like the ying to the Saudis yang. Yet they can't see it.

Or refuse to.

Crack epidemic was shaped by the government. Ronald Reagan was the beginning of America's decline.

People wouldn't have been smoking crack in large numbers if they were not trying to chase the high of more expensive cocaine. All of the gang murders and prostitution and nonstop decay of cities and eventually the country came with this

The consumption cocaine came before the cia or whoever was selling rick ross bricks. It was all glamorized by media and hollywood in the late 60-70s mostly.

Nowadays the media praises and promotes rappers who mumble about selling drugs to the very communities the media says need so much help. Murder prostitution drug trafficking is what they promote.

Funny to blame Reagan

I will say this though.

Pounds to pence America has been a positive for the world. I like Americans and America. A lot of Americans I've met have been good people. And being in America I've rarely met arseholes.

The arrogance and ignorance is the most shocking though. Not on here I hasten to add.

As I get older and understand more I am shocked at how America acts though. Especially as its in real time.

So many unforced errors.

What are your thoughts on Brexit?
maybe a mistake.

but I always knew it wasn't a short term win.

would I change my vote?

probably not. I still feel the federalists of Germany and France would fuck us,

not being part of the euro is the biggest reason to leave the sector.

my biggest regret is how much its made good people feel so sad, I’m not into that.

no offence but as clever as you are you have no idea why we voted out. we did try and suggest reforms.

Is there anything about Brexit that isnt considered arrogance and ignorance by the opposition?

You're astonished by our ignorance and arrogance and it's ironic since those are the terms most associated with the UK and Brexit.

I know exactly why. I followed it in granular detail.
My point is that people react and go to a certain way when they aren't listened to. You have sympathitic ear to people who voted for Brexit but think people that voted for Trump are fucking idiots... Did they not try to have a voice and perhaps Trump was the nuclear fuck it all option?
