Remember, he hasn't been charged with her death, only for using her credit card. They want his ass for an interrogation. His attorney has likely advised him that's not in his best interest. Wouldn't be surprised if he turns himself in at some point.

He's probably staying at a relative's house until he gets further instruction from his attorney.
OK and maybe he is and has been this whole time, but that's not what we are discussing, is it.

If he thought he could hide out in the swamps, then he's in big trouble right now. 80-90 degrees in a swamp is fucking hot, man. You need a lot of clean water to manage that heat. And aside from the drinking water, if he's in a flooded swamp all day with no fire then his socks are soaking wet, and that means by the second day - at most - his feet are completely fucked. That's just how it is out in the bush. You can't just up and go out there with no preparation and no real equipment and no real clue.

I don't know shit about bushcraft, relatively speaking, but I know that much because I've gotten stuck in a flooded rainforest before and spent a night in a small truck with plenty of food and water, a good mate, a dog, beer, smoke and music, but we had no fire and no way to dry anything because we were stuck on a muddy track in a soaking wet rainforest and were low on cooking gas. And when we got out the next morning, my feet were covered in blisters, hurt like fuck, were all shrivelled and purple, and reeked. I don't know if you've ever been stuck out in the bush for a short time, but things tend to turn to shit quick.

I don't think this guy is very bright considering what we already know. He's an anxiety-prone millennial. But the point is it's very doable. I see plenty of highground with tree cover.
It's even worse because if he's really only 23 then he's not even a Millennial, he's a Gen Z/Zoomer who are even bigger pussies. Also if he never gets found I hope the story ends up on another season of Unsolved Mysteries on a future season on Netflix...

Let’s run away together to the boreal forest of Northern Ontario this winter and get lost. Just the two of us. We can make it if we try.

Cut his belly open and warm your hands inside so you can light your matches

We are going to build a self insulating snow igloo and harvest the natural melt within for drinking water. For food we will primarily subsist on pine combs.

Did I tell you about how I saw snow one time?
Did you know you have to wear something called a base layer?

Where's the fuel for the fire coming from? What's he using to cut it?

How's he transporting that?

??
These^^^ are not necessary
There is an invention called water purification and countless methods to achieve it

I don't think he is camping

But to say camping our in a place without extreme low temps is impossible is BS

I was unaware of layers and snow until I moved to the pnw.
Yep, it gets dark, wet, and semi cold due to the wet air

merino wool babay
I wear it 8 months of the year
Makes working outside very enjoyable

probably 40% of my clothes are Merino
