The Senate Judiciary Committee just issued a scathing interim report on their investigation into the January 6th insurrection attempt Following 8 Month Investigation, Senate Judiciary Committee Releases Report on Donald Trump's Scheme to Pressure DOJ & Overturn the 2020 Election | United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary

My question is- although this is a Democrat-chaired committee (Durbin) there are several very high-ranking Republicans that sit on the committee- quite a few Trump bootlickers (Ted Cruz, et al). I have not seen their comments on this report from their committee anywhere. Does anyone have an sources for that?

This report would be a lot better (and more accurate) if the entire GOP hadn't decided to completely stonewall it.

This is the issue, we're conflating a few different investigations into the 1/6 Insurrection.

This is a report by the Senate Judiciary Committee, a high-level bi-partisan committee that was investigating the Insurrection. The Senate stonewalled putting together a select committee to supplement this committee's investigation like the House Select Committee on 1/6 (also bi-partisan- Cheney and Kinzinger).

My question is: have the Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee made comments about the report issued by THEIR COMMITTEE on 1/6 I linked above? Here they are.

This report would be a lot better (and more accurate) if the entire DNC hadn't decided to completely lie, lie, lie. Fuckwitts. All of them, mates. And anyone who disagrees is a complete simpleton :)

I liked the part of the 9/11 commission when they were like "Hey, Prez. There's going to be an attack on the twin towers on this day with planes." and he was all "Whatevs."
Your fourteen year old girl breakdown is great, but can you point to a page in a doc?

Nvm, I don't want you to go digging to prove it, it's Saturday, who cares anyways it was decades ago and can't ask anyone to do some research into something I can't read. I'm having the fruity pebbles, fuck everything

I like the part where you've clearly never worked in anything to do with law enforcement.

Also, none of the intel they got ahead of time was anything close to as specific as that. Are you deliberately lying, or are you just a bit ignorant on the subject?

He's a good faith poster, though. Not a dimwit troll at all. He's certainly willing and able to defend his post from examination.

Oh........ wait......... no, he's not.

He's a good guy by me. The breakdown made me laugh as was intended.

It would be even funnier if BeardOfKnowledge @JakePaulsBeard posted pages that show them to be direct quotes.

By now I won't be surprised if someone shows me proof I did it.
I'd just sadly agree.

He's not really into the whole "providing some evidence to back your one-line platitudes" thing, unfortunately.

Nah, just going for humor. It's been at least 10 years since I've even thought about it. I mostly just remember Jon Stewart covering it extensively when it was released. God I miss that man.

One of the funniest extemporaneous moments from that show:
He's talking about something, and his eye catches his camera image on the monitor.

He turns to profile, and says something like, "Jewy Jewstein." and laughs at himself. ?
