As inflation takes hold, wages may increase, too. The question is, will it be enough to outpace the rise in prices.

I thought this bill was free? This sounds like a new tax to me.
Although anyone with a brain saw this coming. As we transition away from fossil fuels and towards electricity - DC needed to figure out a way to recover that lost fuel tax revenue. This is it.
Hopefully it isn't as fucked up as IFTA - where you have to track the miles you drive in EACH STATE so the revenue can go to the state you used the roads in. There's no way the American people will be smart enough to do that - which means government GPS tracking on your vehicles.
