keep trying.

explain the argument you're making.

he was where he is allowed to be.
he was doing nothing illegal.
he was attacked by people doing illegal things
he killed those people ONLY when they presented an actual actionable threat to his life.
he harmed no one who did not try to hurt him.

but he's immoral because he went there...he's a murderer because...he was there.

walk me through this moral and logical maze.

^ all of those statements are from prosecution witnesses, if you watch the trial.

if you don't want to get shot, don't chase the guy with the gun.
It's a really interesting consideration. I'm not making a comment on the letter of the law.
But a guy brings a gun and open carrys it.
Another guy chases him and without touching him, and while unarmed, Kyle turns and shoots him several times.

Part of that shooting seems to be a consideration that some other guy shot off a gun for no good reason. But forgetting that since the chaser didn't do it.

Is it normal that somebody can shoot someone that is unarmed just for running at them. Is any threat of violence justification for lethal self-defense?
The main argument seems to be that if chomo Guy got his hands on Kyle then he would take his gun and turn it on him and kill him.

Which really illustrates the paradox that bringing the gun in the first place is what creates the lethal self-defense against the potential lethal action that couldn't exist without said gun being brought.

But anyways is it normal that if I am carrying a weapon and some guy comes up to initiate a fight unarmed I can shoot them? Does that precedent only exist when I'm open carrying and my own weapon creates a threat against me?

yes. If someone the means and opportunity, and has stated the intent, they're a lethal threat.
If someone runs away from a guy with gas and torch who's yelling "UR DED!!!!" that meets the threshold of self-defense.

we're talking about a 17 yo kid with a baseball hat being chased by a guy who did prison time.

that guy doesn't chase Jocko-looking guys LARPING in Kenosha.

Splinty @Splinty - as an aside, everything this kid did was a LARPING failure. Starting with showing up, right until he decided to run away and get chased.

after that, he was defending his life against people who were trying to cause him grave bodily harm.

Misdemeanours are lawful!

when the DA has admissions of guilt AND video of people committing firearm (and other) felonies that he chose not to prosecute, we can make a distinction.
Those guys were all jaywalking, too.

FYI.

all that time and that was your best shot?

the only way the DA's actions and behavior make sense to me is if he was trying for a mistrial so he could throw all the blame on a "right-wing activist judge".

anybody else get that vibe watching the trial?

Didn't one of the guys that and got shot have a large lawsuit against the city?
Does his testimony destroy that lawsuit?

i don't know...i think their suit is that the police and fire weren't doing their job.

not sure what impact KR's self-defense status would have on that...

are you familiar with PTSD?

how is this different than Trump mocking a man with a disability?
Here is the difference.

This:

Is a professional with an unfortunate genetic abnormality that he was born with, that makes life a lot harder for him every single day since he's been born, that he did absolutely nothing to bring upon himself, and that the President of the United States disgraced himself and his nation by mocking.

This, on the other hand:

Is a fat little cosplaying incel who thought he'd go feel like a badass by holding a gun and strutting around a place and a situation that he had absolutely no reason to be in, with absolutely no skills, training or experience to offer.

And then surprise surprise, he got himself into a situation waaaaay beyond his ability to handle.

That's really a direct equivalent to you?

??

Maybe if the people who share the same beliefs as you weren't destroying the fucking country resulting in mulitiple deaths across this nation because "blacks are being hunted down daily" (BULLSHIT), he wouldn't have felt the need to help protect a business and have been put in this situtation where a child molester, woman abuser, and shitbag got bullet holes in them. Sadly the last one survived but had to learn how to wipe his ass with his left hand now. Good fuck em'...

I wonder if his parents knew he was going there with a gun?

I can't begin to tell you the distance that I would have gone to stop my son from going.
