@Lars do you want to eat at East Side Mario’s this Saturday and then go to the late show of Bruised? We can leave the old boots at home and take a couple of escorts who are into WMMA.

I’ll probably review her previous work in “Monsters Ball” and “Swordfish” instead.

Am I excited to watch a a vanity project movie about WMMA starring a FIFTY-FIVE year old mediocre actress who hasn't been in a relevant film in 20 years, playing an actively competing professional combat sports athlete alongside a bunch of non-actors half her age?

Why....... no. No, I am not excited to watch this.

Another poor attempt at a cashgrab in MMA.

Obviously Halle Barry is staring in it (She's been fucking all over lately, from b level celebrity to suddenly relevant), this isn't just a movie about MMA its a movie about WMMA.

This feels like the same shit Kevin James and Dana tried with that awful movie Here Comes the Boom another typical fictional garbage tale with a person who can't fight for shit playing a MMA fighter, in a even worse setting than HCtB.

I got a great idea, what about a movie WITH AN ACTUAL FIGHTER playing the lead role.

Tons of great REAL LIFE movies to be made about MMA: Ken Shamrock's Lions Den and Ken's life (Or Frank's)

Pride and the role of the japanese yakuza in both Pride, Rizin, Shooto, Pancrase, DEEP and RINGS.

Miletich Fighting Systems which gave birth to Matt Hughes among others and helped establish the sport in the Iowa area.

Randy Couture's career and life, Mark Coleman's career and life (I heard rumours that the Rock is doing one with Mark Kerr)

Story about the early UFC and bareknuckle MMA in general

if these fucking scriptwriters would take 5 mins of their fucking time to research the sport they wouldn't have to make up BS fictional stereotypical MMA movies, but actual good fucking movies.

Also this movie is about modern MMA in a UFC setting. NOTHING IS GOOD ABOUT MODERN MMA!!! FFS its completely dumbed down, it's tip for tap technical dull action ever since the UFC scored their deal with ESPN to cosplay MMA, no way near the same amount of KO artists or different types of styles as in the past, these days everyones a generalist.

The UFC's 50 shows a year with nobodies from the contender series and soccermoms on the co main will NEVER beat the days when we had Pride, Strikeforce, Elite XC, WEC and yes the UFC. That's literally 10 x times better than the current product, I DARE you guys to back and watch a couple shows and tell me the shit wasn't better.

Also Julie Kedzie? Unless they have a certain target audience who knows shit about MMA anyway, who in the whole wide world would use half a nickel to watch Julie Kedzie? Nobody gives a shit, good on her to rip the marks out of their money, but comeon get GIna Carano in there instead, hottest women in MMA by far. Enough with this Valentina wannabee.

It was really bad, boring, took itself too seriously, not a fun watch. The mma transitions were ridiculous, and in the final fight she had a 50 year old lady fupa in all the scenes

Put some respect on Halle Berry's name. She was the hottest woman on earth for a solid 2 decades and she's into MMA. I could never have dreamed such a thing in the 90s. Are we so spoiled now? Support the sport!

I’d let her domestically abuse me (she’s an abuser they say)

Seriously
In 1998 I would have donated a kidney just to have Rosie O Donnell play Becki Levi in a commercial
