The courts are saying that's the reason, and are proceeding accordingly. From what I've seen that isn't some absurd CT, the idiots are learning what is and what isn't an appropriate expression of free speech.

I can refine the idea further:
A bunch of people broke the law and are being incarcerated for it.
Consequences as a direct result of their actions. Which, oddly, seems to be a concept that took a lot of them by surprise.

Would you say the level of crime that occurred on January 6 is proportionate to being the largest investigation in the department's history? It doesn't occur to me that it does.

I’m not sure what he’s getting at. At the march for life women were holding a sign that said choose adoption (one can reasonably assume instead of abortion). When asked how many they’ve adopted, they said they had two of their own. Suggesting they chose life over abortion?owned, I guess?

It's not for me to say whether it's proportionate to the scope and cost of the investigation. It occurs to me that the guilty will be punished. If they're falsely prosecuted, they'll have that day in court.
