That video doesn't contradict his first video though. It actually just enhances his credibility a little because he rightfully doesn't want to be used by the Russians for propaganda either.
He could be full of shit too. But his statement is logical. If you are handing out free military grade weapons with no oversight, who is going to be the first to show up?

I should have watched the whole 2nd video but he didn't specifically retract the original video or denounce the claims. He is referring to videos shown on Russian TV that aren't just that clip, but a series of other clips of his critical of the Ukraine government.
Lots of comments below say he isn't actually being misrepresented though at all - they are just using his words. And you see how scared he gets by the end as he keeps nervously repeating himself
