‘Dating Coach’ Charged in Capitol Riot Gets Prison Term for Gun Crime

When Mr. Fisher was arrested in Manhattan two weeks after the attack on the Capitol, F.B.I. agents found over a thousand rounds of ammunition and several weapons, including an illegally modified AR-15 rifle and machetes, in his Upper East Side apartment and car.
Mr. Fisher had been charged with 17 different counts relating to the weapons cache; on Monday he pleaded guilty to one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. Mr. Fisher still faces separate, federal charges over his participation on Jan. 6, including entering the Capitol building and disorderly conduct in a restricted building, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

At his sentencing in Manhattan on Monday, Mr. Fisher acknowledged his crime. “I know what I did was wrong and I accept that my actions have consequences,” he said.

Proud Boys leader pleads not guilty to Jan. 6 conspiracy charges

Enrique Tarrio, the Proud Boys leader who was indicted last month in one of the major Jan. 6 prosecutions, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to conspiracy and other felony charges.

Tarrio entered the plea at a virtual hearing that came nearly a month after he was arrested and charged with conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding.

Prosecutors allege that Tarrio led members in his far-right group in a scheme aimed at preventing Congress from certifying President Biden’s victory in the 2020 election, even though Tarrio was not physically present at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

San Antonio man who took plea deal over Jan. 6 riot now found guilty of federal firearms charge

U.S. District Court Judge Fred Biery in San Antonio found Chance Anthony Uptmore, 25, guilty of one count of being an unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of a firearm, according to the TV station. That charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

FBI agents executed a search warrant at Uptmore's residence in early 2021 related to the Capitol siege and discovered a loaded .38 revolver along with a stockpile of marijuana and cannabis products, KSAT reports, citing court documents and trial evidence.

Gay adult film star arrested for violent role in Jan. 6 riots and the receipts don’t lie
Adult film performer Sergeant Miles (legal name Steven Miles) has made no secret of his ardent support of Donald Trump, but now it’s emerged just how far he was willing to go. On Tuesday, Miles was arrested for his violent role in the January 6 insurrection on the U.S. Capitol.

Miles, 39, who performs in both gay and straight scenes, is accused of assaulting police officers and smashing a window of the Capitol building as rioters attempted to stop the certification of the 2020 presidential election.

He was arrested and charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, civil disorder, engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon, and other related offenses, according to the Department of Justice.
