You’re from upstate NY right? Have you tried the Burger at the Niagara Casino. The restaurant is called Blue’s Burger Bar. It’s a really good burger.
I’ve been to the casino but never had a burger there.

best burger I’ve ever had though is from a place called Good Luck in Rochester.

the sauce with it is ketchup Mayo and cognac and I want to brush my teeth with it.

Breakfast: Banana pancakes. Two plain, one with cinnamon, one with chocolate chips.

Lunch: Sweet potato shepherd's pie.

I made enough of this for the week, prep'ed breakfast for tomorrow, and cut up veggies for salads for the week. Lemon for water.

banana bread.

using heavy cream (clabbered) instead of milk, and trying a piece of parchment paper across the bottom/sides to get it out of the pan easier.
I also put butter instead of vegetable oil...we'll see how much it affects the "fluff vs rich" ratio...but that's always a trade-off with butter and oil

First attempt at a roast chook in the air fryer.

Missus ripped into it with a fork 20 seconds after it came out of the fryer, to check if it was done/because she was hungry.

Turned out great. Crispier skin then usual, and in less time. I didn't do much of fuck all to prepare it for a crispy skin, which is both of our preferences. Just wanted to see how it would go, and encouraging results. Will be repeated, but with refinements.

Bacon, ham, spinach, & feta omelet.

My first stab at homemade sushi. Salmon, avocado, & carrots. The flavor is on point, but I didn't cook enough rice and my roll game needs to tighten up.

Lady made all types of rolls with those thin rice paper rounds
That is pretty interesting, can put all types of stuff in them

ours had veggies and medium boiled egg, no leftovers

will experiment more as needed

It is 7am, and I'm done meal prep'ing for the week. I had breakfast (french omelet with spinach and tomato), and cleaned everything up.

Lunch for the week: Spaghetti squash with turkey / spinach / feta meatballs, store bought sauce (Rao's), carrots and onions mixed in, asparagus on the side, and grated parm will come when served.

Four lunches, breakfast for tomorrow, veggies prepped for salads throughout the week, and lemon slices for water.

Tonight, it will be seared ahi salad.

My son wanted pancakes, sausage, and fried eggs this morning so that’s what we did.

my wife is making some pork loin chops with a chipotle cranberry sauce a little later. Curious how that will be ?
