Not true anymore. Now that there are more competitors that's dropped massively.

Like cell phone batteries, given the rapid charging stations, you can go from nada to 80% in about 20 minutes on some new cars. So about the time it takes you to fill up with gas and drop a giant deuce after eating that weird Cincinnati chili spaghetti crap.
Basically just need to hope that there’s nobody ahead of you at the charging station.

20 minutes still kind of sucks, but not too hurtful.

I wonder what gas stations charge stations of the future will look like since the process is more of an extended stay?

And has the gov't figured out how they are going to collect taxes? By mileage?

With him being in Ohio he has a good ten years before most people there figure out that electric cars don't have to stay plugged in as you drive them so there shouldn't be much of a fight for the charging station.

I average about 25k miles a year on my vehicles. So roughly every 5 years I'm either buying a new vehicle or dropping $20k on a battery. I suppose I could budget an extra $340/month to cover the inevitable battery replacement expense. But that feels pretty stupid.
Tesla batteries last 300-500k miles. Dat midwest math.

So how many miles per gallon you get?

That would be over 340$ per month in gas in my Tacoma and I can only assume you drive something larger.
Around 18 mpg
Eventually gas will return to pre-biden levels

Hey Dick Niaz @Dick Niaz ! Have you had your car long enough to see a difference in your electric bill yet?
I received a summary for the kilowatt hours used for the first 6wks I had it and it worked out to be about $90. I didn’t track it closely but I think I drove between 750-1,000 miles over that time. Long story short, it was way less expensive of an increase in my bill than I imagined, and I saved way more than I anticipated vs what gas would have cost for that amount of miles.

Not $340/month
I spent 240+ today on fuel

2 trucks were near empty(one with 38 gallon tank)

Will do that twice per month during my busy season(now)

This Brandon dude is a problem
