Can someone explain to me why federalizing federal election laws would be a bad thing? I could see how it could go wrong but if it were to just establish basic guidelines for how the votes can be secured, tallied, audited, and how long the polls are open then that actually would seem to be for the best...
My guess would be, because it makes sense.
