I'm most interested in hearing Adam Kinzinger

I probably disagree with him on 98% or more of policies, but I saw him interviewed a lot well before January 6th. I even made a thread here about him August of 2020 asking for opinions, cause he seemed like a cool dude

What happened? I think you're the only person watching.
I turned on for one second
Then turned off when I saw a “warning graphic content “ warning on screen while watching the calmest riot in the last decade.

There was some hairy stuff that went on as per the video. Mind you the video was heavily edited, with commentary over the end of it, lol.

That video got pretty wild at the end. Cop being mauled and a shit load of tards attacking.
That was when I turned it on and was like "Holy fuck." then they kept jumping to different stuff at different times. If you presented a video like that in a court the judge would laugh you out of the room.

Some liz chenny notes (take with grain of salt)

- laid the groundwork that trumps inner circle such as barr, meadows, and Ivanka all believed the election wasn't stolen
- Trump ignored their opinions and used millions of dollars to begin spreading a lie about the election being stolen so as to convince millions of Americans that the election was corrupt
- he asked the AG to say that the election was corrupt and leave the rest to him and republican congressmen. Senior Justice department officials wouldn't do that since it wss a not true, so he replaced them with acting AG clark
- clark (or trump?) wrote a letter to send to Georgia and five other states saying they had identified concerns that may have impacted the outcome of elections. That letter was a lie since the DoJ had repeatedly told trump the opposite.
- clark and others sought preemptive pardons
- trump pressures pence to not approve the electors
- pence said that what trump was asking of him was wrong and unamerican
- something about john eastmen and trumps plan to overturn the election violating two federal statutes
- trump pressured states to overturn results
- trump legal team worked to haul the count of electoral votes
- trump campaign pressured state legislatures and elections officials to change election results
- trump campaigndd called on states to rescind electoral slates and create and transmit false slates of electors to congress and the VP, stating that he won states he actually lost
- he summoned a violent mob and directed them to March in the capital
- while violence underway, failed to ask them to stop and leave the capital
- on December 18th, trump met wirh powelll, giuliano, flynn on January 6 to discuss having military seize voting machines and rerunning elections. And hour after they left, trump tweeted to come to capital on jnaury 6th. Said to be there. It will be wild.
- proud boys made plans after that
- on January 5th, Bannon said "all hell is going to break loose tomorrow
- on Jan 6th, trump did not call anyone to assist capital. Not secretary of defense, AG, dept of homeland security, and gave no order to deploy national guard. Nor DoJ to deploy law enforcement assets. Instead. Vp pence did each of those things

OK I'm done taking notes lol sorry
