Check out their podcast if you haven’t already. They are doing a rewatch of the series. They are supposed to be talking about each episode of the show, but most of the podcasts consist of them just fucking around and commenting on random tangents. It’s like posting here. It’s brilliant!Fuck that show is brilliant.

Sorry I'm not on here much these days.
thank you sirSorry I'm not on here much these days.
Celestron is a decent brand if you are looking for entry to intermediate level
scopes for sure. The particular scope here is a version of Cassegrain reflector
which are relatively decent scopes for the price.
The only downside with Cassegrain reflectors is that they are a bitch to collimate and even more
of a bitch to keep collimated. They'll test your patience for sure in that regard.
My suggestion would be if you are going to spend less then a few grand, a "Telescope"
isn't really worth the squeeze.
You'll have a much more pleasurable time with a set of high powered Binoculars
like Zhumells 25 X 100s

Zhumell 25 X 100 Tachyon Astronomy Binoculars with Case
Prepare for a cosmic close-up with Zhumell's 25 X 100 Tachyon Astronomy Binoculars with Case! These intergalactic peepers once caught a comet trying to photobomb the Moon. Crafted with laser-like precision, they offer a front-row seat to the celestial blockbuster, with 25x100 magnification...www.highpointscientific.com
There is nothing a scope under a grand can see that a solid pair of 25 X 100s can't.
Plus...
No fucking around for hours trying to get your collimation dialed.
No heavy ass mount to constantly have to re fucking position
10 X Easier to hook up to your iPhone/Android
etc etc...
thank you sir
Hit me with a good mount if you don't mindAnytime. They are great for seeing all kinds of Nebulae, Star clusters, planets and they will
even resolve several other galaxies. Almost anything in the Messier 100 catalog they do a better
job on then entry level scopes.
Not to mention until you get really experienced with Telescope alignment and navigation
its a literal bitch just trying to get objects positioned in your telescope to see them at all.
And once you do.. they don't stay there for long. lol
You can find the Zhumells on sale for 300 bucks often
Don't go cheap on the mount though.
Get the best mount for them you can afford.
You will thank me. Trust me!
Happy Gazing!

I would add that you can see certain things in a scope much better than in binoculars.Sorry I'm not on here much these days.
