This was sometime in between 1986 & 1994.I was showing you the picture that was on the back of my hoodie that I found.
I'm from the real navy I can't buy that stuff..not been through selection either, it's not my place.I was showing you the picture that was on the back of my hoodie that I found.
I've been on the whiskey..tell me tomorrowYou ain't listening.
I give up.
They had him cornered and had Rangers and Marines ready to go to provide blocking position to prevent escape to Pakistan, just didn't get pentagon approval.
The time the U.S. government sat on intelligence so they wouldn't get Bin Laden? I remember it well.
Sorry, but I don't understand what you're asking here. Can you reword it?you think hunting down old ass worn down Bin Laden with most of his cells destroyed for 10 years was worth more??
Massive time differenceYou ain't listening.
I give up.
I woke up.
going after Bin Laden immediately after causing 9/11, while destroying all of his organization (AlQaeda) and protectors (Taliban)
Sorry, but I don't understand what you're asking here. Can you reword it?
Okay, so I did understand. So read the options you've offered before me, bear in mind that the Pentagon didn't give them the go ahead, and then talk it through.going after Bin Laden immediately after causing 9/11, while destroying all of his organization (AlQaeda) and protectors (Taliban)
vs
going after Bin Laden 10 years after 9/11, dude's not even a threat at this point, most of his organization is dismantled at this point
the former seem more important than the latter
England is terrible at soccer.Keep posting I love this shit
You ever been stabbed?England is terrible at soccer.
My friend worked Blackhawks.. he was a tech but had to work the door. Obviously I never asked him. But occasionally he would tell me a story
Pentagon already gave them the green light to go after him.Okay, so I did understand. So read the options you've offered before me, bear in mind that the Pentagon didn't give them the go ahead, and then talk it through.
I don't think you're following. The Bush/Cheney administration wanted a long, expensive war. That's why Bin Laden escaped.Pentagon already gave them the green light to go after him.
you have to consider the situation they were in at the time. The Delta guys were around 10 ppl going into foreign country with zero support to come save their asses, and all intelligence gathering on the fly, easy for Pentagon to scratch their heads at what they requested
vs
the Seals 10 years after, US Presence was very close they've been establishing base near their area of operation, not to mention gathering intel for few years before they got the green light
I advise you to listen to the podcast, cuz McPhee (delta commander at the time) explains in detail, it's actually a really good podcast
our original discussion was about which is more higher tier on demand, I say Delta cuz nobody crossed over to Devgru from Delta, but this dude about the thread certainly crossed over from Devgru to Delta.
