I can't stand people who plan weddings on big sports days...Kentucky Derby, opening weekend for college football & NFL, UK vs UofL football or basketball games. Fucking idiots man.
Not only that, but the camping trip is a family thing that has been locked down since before I was born. I've never not been camping on Labor Day weekend. I'm not the only one that was like "What the fuck are you doing?"

There's a few people who have tickets to the game and they are like "Sorry bro - I ain't missing this game."

Plenty others are hitting the wedding then bailing on his reception to hit up a sports bar to watch the game. I'll probably be in that crowd if I don't think it will piss the wife off too much.

Gonna be the lamest reception ever because all the dudes will either be at a sports bar or huddled around an iPhone while someone streams the game.

Serves him right. Moron.

Is your cousin an Ohio St or college football fan? How did he not fight scheduling it on another day??

He's from C-Bus.
He's not a huge football fan but his dad is. It baffles me how he settled on that day. So stupid.

I told him that if you gave me all 365 days to pick from, that one would be #365. Yes - I'd rather he did this on Christmas Day.

Hauler @Hauler - Sports Illustrated is predicting an 8-4 season for us. I think that will be our record as well, with losses to Clemson, UK, Pitt and one more.

Predicting Louisville Football's 2022 Season - Sports Illustrated Louisville Cardinals News, Analysis and More

I'm excited about the future though. We just got a commit today from a Top 150 Running Back in the 2024 class, after landing the #1 rated recruit in the 2023 class. It's obviously NIL that is giving us this recruiting momentum, but I dont know where it's coming from...Adidas, businesses, or what.

I dont know man. They've dominated us the last 2 years, and it's been because of the trenches. They recruited talent on both lines the past 5 years, and we didn't make it priority until Satterfield got here...and it took him until now to start getting real talent at those positions. We'll be able to score on them, but I hope we can stop them. We didnt last year.

I don't know anything about Louisville's roster but didn't Pitt lose their stud QB and RB and WR? Are they expected to be good again?

UK is going to be interesting this year.

Unless there is a dramatic offensive improvement I could see Clemson losing 2-3 games. Wake Forest returns damn near everyone. Notre Dame will be good. And USCe has potential. They overachieved last season but players bought in, they added a lot of talent via the portal. And Clemson eventually has to lose to them again lol

I am surprised you feel confident in beating Wake Forest, actually.

I wouldn’t say confident. We can lose to anyone. But we also return almost everyone on both sides to the ball, and we filled some needs thru the portal. We lost 37-34 to them last year when they were ranked Top 25. Beat them the year before. So it should be a great game. Usually is with those guys.

That's huge. Especially in the ACC right now where there isn't a juggernaut or two to go up against
I like to think 8-4, 6-2 in the ACC is our floor this year, but our schedule is pretty tough and we are FUCKED if we lose our QB to injury.

UGA is 17.5 point favorite over Oregon. Fuck, that's more than I want to bet.
Virtual home game for Georgia.

UGA preseason #3 and Oregon #14 according to CBS Sports poll.

Oregon offensive and defensive rankings weren't anything that stood out last year.

I would lay the 17.5

UGA lost 28 players from last year's team. 15 to the draft and 13 transfers. They were also the only P5 team in the country to not have at least one inbound transfer. And Oregon's new HC was UGA's DC last year.
