I may need to check one of those places out if there is any around me. I went to a cheap all you can eat asian place a few years ago and I was blown away by the girth of the patrons. It was great people watching. Pretty sure 85% were samoan families. Filipinos don't get that big.

Walmart around here isn't as exciting as one might think. I mean yeah, it's got shitty quality food and tshirts that feel like sandpaper, but it doesn't draw in the likes of the pics I see on the internet. Might need to head inland for that.
I have good news. I just searched Golden Corral's website and there is exactly one location in my county 25 miles away. I think I may need to check that out. What do you think the hostess would say if I said I am not here to eat, but rather to observe.
