yes..i've seen vikings. totally dig that show too. .
it's has some similarities as far as historical shows go...the last kingdom is set a bit earlier than the vikings...
and a bit of a different perspective one being from ragnar lothbrook and his viking clan invading eastward.
last kingdom seems to give you the point of view from the saxons having to defend england and their various kingdoms from the danes.
both have bad ass fights with swords and axes though. can't go wrong watching the series. you'll be entertained.

plus the obligatory love story has pretty people so it's not half bad .
I def look forward to it then. I have so much stuff to watch.

I'm on episode 7 of Fargo. And can't wait for Black Sails to come back on.

Ron Perlman is a legend. When asked why he takes so many acting gigs, he just answered, 'My wife loves shoes'.

He was great in Sons of Anarchy, from what I saw of it anyways, only caught first two seasons.

While I'm not 100% on Vikings timeline, as they have taken historical events from a large time period and squeezed them together, The Last Kingdom should be set after Vikings. The main invasion of the British Isles by the Great Army of vikings in 865 was led by the sons of Ragnar, which is often interpreted to be the Ragnar Lothbrok(or one of the men that was the inspiration for him) from the 13th century Icelandic Sagas.

Obviously, that should put Vikings before The Last Kingdom, which has the Great Army as a backdrop to the storyline, but as I said the Viking writers have taken liberties with the timeline. For instance the first raiding of Wessex should happen around the turn of the 800s, whereas the Seige of Paris happens in 845, yet in the show it is but years apart.

If you're using gin, no.

Are you out or making them at home?

Actually, Tom Collins is gay. In Rent. The musical.
Making at home with gin and simple syrup, as it was intended to be.

Nowhere in this damn province makes a proper one. :(
