Saw that Fabian Edwards beat Mousasi tonight. Mousasi needs to retire. Been a hell of a career.

I think so, but one good counter is a lot to risk

A few fights back I was wondering about Bas Rutten palm strikes and if they had a place in this sport

I can throw fast combos with them and they are heavy, plus they protect the hands...again you risk that one good counter turning you off or cutting you up...would probably have to have a decent speed and range control advantage to be able to safely use them
High volume with ability to exploit an opening for a hard shot is a great skill set in bare knuckle. Liver shots are even more effective in bare knuckle, the lack of a glove gives a harder contact surface and smaller contact area- and you are not risking a hand break

Yep
It feels like body work is even more devastating, although a good body shot can end a fight even with 12 oz
gloves
Body work seems pretty rare still though, only a few guys commit to it, it usually works though...that guy earlier got that big left hook that caused a cut in after making his opponent respect the body shots

Bareknuckle is gonna evolve a lot and some guys are gonna try some different styles, makes it very interesting

Haha speak of the body shots and a guy wins with them
