In Yachats I like Luna Sea Fish House - The Best Yachats Seafood Restaurant! , just fresh seafood fried or cooked other ways. I like the fish tacos a lot. Cool little town right on the water with a good beach and views, right across the street is The Drift Inn Home which is also quite nice, they have good live music. My dad plays there sometimes.

IN Newport, the quick fresh fish and chips place I can vouch for is About South Beach Fish Market, fresh seafood, crab, tuna, restaurant, Newport, Oregon. Fresh and certainly not fancy...Popular during some hours.

I'm not a super regular at the Coast so I am just giving some solid places I have enjoyed.
