So do I. I had a similar injury, albeit on a lesser scale. Still could've lost my leg. What he went through was much more serious than people understand.
Yeah. That's the way of the NFL now. Renegotiate as soon as you feel you are in a position to do so.

I don't really blame him for trying, but - historically - Bengals answer to this shit is "go fuck yourself".
I'm not too worried for missed practices and preseason. Dude is a player and he'll be ready if he decides to participate - but I do sort of worry about going from 0 to 100 in a real game from an injury standpoint.
