I got into these as a kid. I thought about this recently cause there is supposed to be a movie coming out like that. Fun rereads. I was always a prick first to try. Its good to be bad.

Black Mirror's Bandersnatch (or whatever it was called) was kinda like that.
And there was a video game - the name absolutely escapes me right now - but it was kinda like that. In fact, it wasn't a "video game" as much as it was just a series of real life scenes (not video game cut scenes...like scenes from a tv show or movie). You'd watch it, it'd get to a climatic point, then ask you to make a choice of what to do next. You choose and it seemlessly continues the "game" (movie) with whatever your choice was.
I watched a walkthrough of it on youtube a few weeks back and it was pretty cool.
I used to like the goosebumps books as a kid, they had a few of these pic your own adventure books iirc.
There was a sidescroller beat em up on sega Saturn called guardian heroes. It was a kinda choose your own adventure game. I loved it it was great, loads of different endings.

Very good drawings, very good ideas, publisher obviously has some idea what he or she is doing too, however I feel this book may lead to too much questioning of authority by youth, that should not be tolerated, they need to know there place.
