Well, my late wife & I lived in a community called Sedona Shadows in West Sedona so we didn't have to deal with the congested traffic except for when we wanted to do something in the city. We did all our shopping & stuff in nearby Cottonwood.
We actually use Crystal Beach Loganberry for several items in our restaurant, I grew up on that shit in Batavia, Arbys had it on their soda fountain. Tried getting the white hots through sysco but seems zweigles handle distribution on their own end.
Oh, yeah, those would be awfully difficult to try to replicate.
Oh, man, that's very cool. I used to go to Maine quite often when I was in my 20s & early 30s. I came very close to packing everything up & move to E. Millinocket because I loved mount Katahdin so much. But life got in my way & the Maine dream died. But it's right up there with Arizona & Florida as my favorite places in the world.
After the mills shut down and everyone fled you could buy a beautiful home for 50-60,000. Out of staters have driven the prices up over the last decade.

Yep, the Great Northern Paper Co. was the lifeblood of that town. I feel bad for all those people who lost their jobs there. Downtown must have looked like a ghost town afterward.
They're really not. They're dry & crusty & on their own, there's pretty much nothing you can do with them. But when you add hot juicy roast beef to them & top it off with some horseradish the roll transforms into something wonderful. The juice from the beef soaks into the weck & makes it soft & soggy. I know it sounds weird to the uninitiated but beek on weck sandwiches are a staple to the people of Buffalo & the surrounding area. The started out as a bar sandwich as the initial dryness of the roll & the heavy salt on top led to a significant increase in beer sales.
