touch @touch or anyone can you explain to me like I'm 6 years old how the hell Putin is cool with the mudslimes like Iran and Ramzan Kadyrov but leads a Christian nation. Especially after the Chechen war and all the attacks on Russia by all the radical mudslimes?

Putin playing 4-d chess. Being cool with Muslims doesn't only mean being cool with Chechnya. It means being cool with large Muslim nations all over the world, not only Iran, but also Saudis, Indonesia, Muslim countries in Africa etc. It gains him support all over the world.

Besides that, Russia has a tradition of being a multicultural nation back from the Czar times, let alone USSR.

You play the hand you're dealt. Putin tried to integrate with the west for years and was rebuffed at every turn. When you look east, you're options are limited.

Putin has been a good influence as far as seeking tolerance for Christians in Syria and other places.

Because all the people who profited from NATO expansion would have no reason to exist if Russia was integrated with the west.

True, but I think it goes deeper than that.

Historically, it's been a wierd cycle all the way back to Peter the Great. Russia moves towards the west and gets the rug pulled out everytime. Think about the siege of Vienna then try to understand the Crimean War. There has always been a fear in western europe that if russia isn't checked it will grow too powerful. From the german knights to swedes to napoleon, Russia has proved unconquerable by western europe. The alternative has been to try dominate economically.

Russia limited themselves economically under the soviet union, but without that handicap, europe is fearful again.

I guess the goals of the west was always to try and break Russia up into smaller pieces like the new EU chief said.

Why yes, the ukies are doing splendidly!

Now please hand over your wallet to the Zelensky and please put on the boots and proceed to the foreign legion barracks, there's a good man.
It's a firebag. They're being slaughtered in there. There are reportedly in the order of ten thousand dead so far.

I don't want to post video but the carnage is awful.
