Sucks for Johnston, I thought the flag was because they rapped him, instead it was called on the Steelers

Neither of Jones’s holding calls are ever called on the RT blocking TJ. Not to mention Surtain used the hip drop tackle on Pickens.

Steelers run for 9 yards in 1sf down and then have a holding call on 2nd down. How stupid. Winning teams don’t do that.

Two game lead over the ravens and bengals by winning two road games. It helps we played a couple of poor teams. But I’ll take it.

Russ will hopefully be back next week. Fields managed the game just fine, but they need points next week.....

All these games are must-win. Every game before the hell-stretch of 6 divisional games in 8 weeks (with the two non-divisional games being Chiefs at home and Eagles in Philly) descends on them, are don’t fuck things up games.

This Steelers team reminds me of the early 90's teams. Great defense and if the offense doesn't make mistakes they are good enough to win some and be competitive with the really good teams. JustWin Fields is filling that role really well.

And much like those early 90’s Steelers teams, if you cannot throw the ball and put points on the board, the best they can hope to do is win one playoff game. This offense must get better and more dynamic. As they are constructed, it is hard to see that happening. I hope I’m wrong though.

I feel like they are on the edge of breaking out. There were fixable things that went wrong last week that cost them huge strikes down the field. I think that what we are seeing with the Bears right now is a good indication of Fields' problems in Chicago being as much, if not more, about the org. He's 4-1 in his last 5 games as a starter and 6-2 in his last 8. 6 of the 8 games were played with a 7-10 team. I think he will continue to grow into a solid starter.

Hope you’re right. There’s not a lot of confidence in him right now in Pittsburgh.

I think if they get the running game going at a high level, Fields will become much better knowing he doesn’t have to win the game by himself.
