I don't think they would invade without major US support, including feet on the ground.

The US loves destabilizing the middle east. We've been doing it directly or indirectly for the last half century.
So naturally we're going to encourage Israel to invade other countries and regions....basically poking a ticking time bomb that is the middle east.

How would that even work? 95% of our country is attached to their phones and tablets. This new generation practically relies on their phones to exist. I can't imagine many people wanting to leave their electronics at home just to go on vacation, or to take a small trip.
because to those who run the US, this is taking care of their own. Keeping the rest of us divided so they keep raking in huge $$$ in weapons sales and other humanitarian aide.
Natanyahu has said for a year now that this will not end until all of Israel's enemies in Gaza are gone. They're not looking for any cease fires or agreements, they're looking for a more permanent solution this time.
