After throwing about 65 kicks in the first round it's no wonder Elias was gassed. You could almost see Santos just letting him have that first round while only picking a few damaging shots and letting Elias wear himself out. He picked up the pace consistently from then on.

Not gonna lie, I was thinking about Santos' forearms as flashes of Cung Le vs. Shamrock flashed by memory, in that first round.
Santos very tough as well to shake those off.
