I'm ok with it for nothing else than for the compensation. We trade what will end up being a late 5th and pick up Johnson and a high 6th.

So its really just adding a WR by trading back 15-20 picks on day 3.
Yeah, im just giving you shit lol.

Balt trades for a receiver while their secondary is swiss cheese
It was a nothing trade as far as the price goes... but yeah, I'd much rather see another pass rusher or a high end safety.

Marcus Williams got benched... and Eddie Jackson hasn't looked great.

I do kind of give a pass for the Browns game with Marlo and Wiggins out... and not having any real time to prepare for Winston and a new play caller...

However, I think its more of a scheme issue than a personnel issue. There are all pro's at all 3 levels of that defense. There is no reason they should have so many blown coverages.

This trade as more about the Panthers and their thoughts on Bryce Young to me.

Johnson was brought in to be his #1 WR and to help him grow as a QB by giving him a weapon. Trading him away tells me they are giving up on his development.

So many football "experts" on twitter are calling the Colts stupid for benching AR and saying they would trade for him now if they were a GM.

Then when I or others ask them what would they give up for AR we get crickets. Some PFF clown said hes a sound passer with his mechanics lol.

Are people in Denver really saying "BOlieve?' lol
I don't know
Heard some former players on a bronco podcast discussing whether they "Bo-lieve" Bo will be good yet or not
I don't live in Denver so can't say

Just thought it was a fun John Daly Meme since the Broncos were supposed to have the worst roster in the league like John Daly's body vs The Football Gods Ravens

1 win away from winning that bet of yours now I believe, I've a feeling that you didn't think you'd be in this spot after 7 games.
I actually had it as a possible 6-2 at this point, at worst 4-4. All 8 of their games were winnable on paper to me, soft schedule. Schedule gets tough right now with Baltimore and KC back to back then Atlanta.
Felt like a 10 win team to me because it was 8-9 last year with a smarter pre/post snap QB. Plus they added 2 above average defensive lineman and a hard hitting safety to a good defense.

I think this kid is going to be a stud. He's playing pretty well on a bad team right now, but he has shut down corner potential

I heard the league office is starting an inquiry into him after an anonymous tip off claiming he is a voodoo priest and hexes receivers.

The report was made by a 'Rodger Aarons'

Lol @ Eberflus here. Getting out coached and out analyzed by Dan Quinn. Bill Belichick said it was the easy 13 yard past that lost them the game. Chase Daniels says it was the pass. Even dummies like Emmanuel Acho said it was the easy pass and broke down how almost all teams (but the bears) would defend the pass to prevent the HM attempt to be attempted.

Everyone but Eberflus seems to not get this and hes a defensive coach. He then went on to blame the players for the loss. Now they do get a lot of blame for sure but this guy is a clown.

Thinking about the Pats defense
They lost Judon, essentially to a contract dispute so they traded him.
Christian Barmore has been out for the year
Bentley, their leading tackler and Defensive play caller out for the year.
Dugger has been hurt
Traded Uche

Uche should be a good pickup for the Chiefs, much to my annoyance. He's a pass rusher specialist, but not good enough to be the primary.
He really excelled when he was on the field at the same time as Judon, which makes me think he'll be pretty good on the field at the same time as Chris Jones.

He's a defensive liability in any other area though. Basically you just put him in on passing downs to rush the qb. He was on a 1 year contract, and he just hasn't been seeing the field that much with the currest Patriots system and roster. SO they got something out of him before they lost him to free agency. Not an un-wise trade i guess.
