Trap 5/10 - I’m convinced M Night Shyamalan is trolling audiences by coming up with interesting premises and just shitting all over them. The overall tone was off, the killer was goofy, and the acting was mostly terrible.

I remember watching The Happening and swiftly realising that it was utter shite, and a quick search tells me that was released in 2008.
I thought Split and Devil were pretty good. The show Wayward Pines was good too. He’s definitely had a lot of missed though.
He's insane, it was fucking epic, CGI or not.

Aside, rewatched Fury Road & it's even better AFTER watching Furiosa.
Furiosa's acting, story & character are highlighted way more, wheres before Furiosa the hero was almost solely Tom Hardy.
Furiosa was done so well, it can actually be watched in chronological order, and should be imo.
Chris Hemsworth character, acting, & prosthetics was so good, some might watch it without being told its him and not know.
Definitely worth owning the hard copy.

Knew it'd be shit going in but wasn't expecting it to be this bad. There's a movie in there somewhere, you just have to wait for lady gaga to stop singing every 10 minutes.

It's like they started with a good movie and purposely made it bad while making this film. It should have been so easy to write a sequel script for such a developed character like the joker. High school kids could have written a better sequel this was incompetent writing.
Venom The Last Dance - 5/10. Such a great comic book character that they just couldn’t get right. They leaned too far into the comedy which just didn’t seem to land. Not as bad as Madame Web, but this was shit. Upgrade did a better job of showing a similar symbiotic relationship on film that I think would have been better. Hopefully, they can fix it in the MCU at some point.
Sad Max was my favorite character. I wanna see more of that. I loved the truck traps.
