Neither one of them will ever say anything about "...he's got a Jaaaaaaaaag" ever again.Jeremy Clarkson and James May are rolling in their graves right now.
After that video, I'm pretty sure the appropriate way to pronounce it now is "Fagg-ot-wire".In protest I am going to stop saying Jag You Are and just pronounce it normally now, Jag wire.
When did Clarkson die? Think he’s still aroundJeremy Clarkson and James May are rolling in their graves right now.
There used to be an engineering professor at CalPoly that based most of his coursework on the Jag I6. Unfortunately he was retired before I got there. Owner of XK’s Unlimited was able to take his courses though. It’s what got him into restoring vintage jags & vintage racing (races a really quick E Type). For reference, Jag is the same brand that made the Mk II:

And one of the best-looking cars of all time, the E-Type:
Wife is always like “Why do you say Jag-you-are and Jew-cat-e instead of saying them the normal way?” I just tell her she wouldn’t understand if I explained it.In protest I am going to stop saying Jag You Are and just pronounce it normally now, Jag wire.
Most of the ones I see locally are the old XJS models. Occasionally run across an XK-E in random places , usually attired in British Racing Green, but once in a while a different color. Never driven one either. My sole experience in exotic cars was when a dude rolled up at the service station I worked at as a teenager in a Pantera. I was so agog that he ran me around the block in it just so I could say that I’d ridden in one.Have never driven one
Don't see many on the roads here
