Fun fact: the reason ABBA (and many other Swedish bands at the time) wore some pretty outlandish costumes when performing, was because there was a law that said they could write off stage costumes against tax.
As they had to be able to show that they were purely for performing, and not just street clothes, they made sure to make them pretty outrageous in case they got audited.

Had METV on yesterday afternoon and “Gilligan’s Island” came on. It was the episode that starts with Gilligan thinking that Ginger shot the Professor out of jealousy over him and Mary Ann. Dawn was wearing a pink halter top and blue booty hugger shorts and looked amazing. I said “That girl doesn’t get her due in this world,” and the wife agreed and stated that she was way better looking than Ginger.
It's hard to say...Ginger always had to wear that stupid dress and Mary Ann got to show off the goods every episode (except the belly button of course), IF Ginger got to wear the daisy dukes it would be a closer competition imo...

Interesting factoid: when Evel Knievel attempted to jump the fountains at Caesar’s Palace he hired John Derek to film it. John was married to Linda and put her on a camera near the landing ramp. That infamous footage of the wreck was shot by her.
