That would actually be awesome. I miss the 80's and early 90's so much man.@Wild
I'm actually writing a screen play about kids buying concert tickets back in the late 80s/early 90s. Camping out overnight in front of some random store that happened to have a Ticketron, and all the shenanigans that took place during those nights.
It was a huge part of my teen years and I think it would make an awesome movie .
Pfft...amateursHappy New Year Fam!

I would love to see a movie about camping out for tickets. You'd see my movie, eh?
It was such a good time man. Kids today have no idea what we went through to secure concert tickets.
Make it anything like Dazed & Confused, and it'll be can't miss.I would love to see a movie about camping out for tickets.
True story, I have all my concert stubs from all my shows in a book. First show, Led Zep.
That's another thing that's lost in today's scene. Ticket stubs. Now they are mobile. Yawn.I would love to see a movie about camping out for tickets.

Absolutely. Went to a couple of shows recently and was saying this exact thing. That's another thing that's lost in today's scene. Ticket stubs. Now they are mobile. Yawn.
I also saved my stubs. Nothing awesome like Led Zep here, but in a 7 day span in 1991 I saw
- Steve Miller
- Eric Johnson
- Scorpions
- David Lee Roth
- Cinderella
- Extreme

Had a similar experience in HS. Was out partying in the country when the Sherriff's raided the party. My friend David & I were too far from our other friend who drove us so we ran through the orchard. Ended up hiding until everyone was arrested/cops dissipated. We then walked a few miles to the one country store that was out there. Ran into a bunch of Mexicans doing lines off the trunk of their low rider. After talking to them for a minute they asked if it was our cars that were on the tow trucks with the cops. Just said we ran, ended up at the store & it was likely our friends car(s) they saw. Ended up buying them some tacos off a midnight roach coach they knew about for a ride back to town 🤣.100% man. I dont care what anyone says, life was better without social media and cell phones. You actually had to talk to people, be capable of reading a map or writing down & following directions, coordinate plans and just figure shit out. We'd get in bar fights and someone would get left behind when everyone fled the police, or get abandoned at parties because the friend you rode with took off to go hook up with some chic....you either walked your ass to a pay phone and hoped someone answered, or you roughed it for the night. I remember one night the police raided a party we were at, everyone hauled ass, I ran into the woods and didn't know where the fuck I was. It was dead of winter, freezing ass. I just kept walking until I ran into an apartment complex. Found the laundry room, put quarters in the dryer and slept on top of that motherfucker for heat.
Ah camping over night outside Dillard's at Fiesta Mall (RIP) was so much fun in the late 80s early 90s!I would love to see a movie about camping out for tickets.
