Pitt has to make some major changes in the offseason.
They are in a tough spot. They are good enough to make the playoffs but don't have the stars to seal the deal. They never are gonna have a top pick living like that but they can attract good FA.

New OC, take a chance on a rookie QB in the middle of the draft, draft best player available, get a real WR to pair with Pickens.

Or get rid of Pickens.

He's gotten to be more of a diva each season so far... how long before he goes full CTESPN

I’d look to trade Pickens and try to get Higgins in free agency.

Ok, I bet that the chargers would win outright

I got that wrong, I’ll admit it

I did parlay it with the over, so I got that part right, but wrong team

I’m a degenerate and I know it

I want to get credit for the over but they won’t honor it

Derrick Henry needs 370 yards to set the all time single season rushing record (including playoffs)

If Baltimore makes the Super Bowl, thats only 123 yards per game remaining.

For playoff football with 2 games being in the northeast, we don't have much to worry about as far as shit weather goes.
There might be some flurries in Buffalo, but they don't expect any accumulation.

Philly is mid-30s and clear.
Tampa Bay will be in the 50s at game time. Also clear.

That's 6 playoff losses in a row for Tomlin and the Steelers.
5 of those were one-and-done seasons.

I'm sure the "Fire Tomlin" chants are about as loud as they can get at this point. That fanbase expects a lot more than a winning regular season.

Another angle to look at is that organization prides themselves in only having 3 head coaches in 50 years.
  • Chuck Noll 1969-1991
  • Bill Cowher 1992-2006
  • Mike Tomlin 2007-present
One has to wonder if that's why Tomlin hasn't gotten the hook yet. The Rooneys haven't fired a head coach since 1968. LMAO.

Just caught the highlights, didn't expect Herbert to throw more picks in the wild card loss than he did all season. He shit the bed good and proper.

In looking up the years of service for this post, I noticed that Tomlin has the best-ever regular season winning % of all Steelers HC @ 63%

Although his playoff % is 42% - Noll was 67% and Cowher was 57%

Tomlin is 2nd to only Schottenheimer for the most one-and-dones in NFL postseason history.

I don't think his position is in jeopardy. Consistent playoff appearances may not be ideal if they keep losing the first playoff game, but it's better than a lot of teams have.

It reminds me of a quote from an English football (soccer) manager, after one of his rivals was sacked despite consistently finishing in the top half dozen teams in the league and qualifying for European cup competitions every year:

"I wish I could fail on such a consistent basis."

If Tomlin were sacked, it had better be for an all time great coach, otherwise the owners would look like jackasses.

This is why fans are generally fucking idiots.

Sure it sounds great 'Fire Tomlin! He can't win the Super Bowl anymore.'

Who the fuck are you going to replace him with that will be better? He's a HOF level coach.

The FO has little motivation to fire Tomlin. Sucks to not win a playoff game but a coach like Tomlin is keeping guys in the front office employed but constantly being relevant.

Most guys will take a decade long employ with a company vs 1 or 2 massive boom years and be gone in 5 years.

Lets go Broncos!
Estime is a healthy scratch for some reason
Tyler Badie is suiting up

Not sure why
Badie has more speed but hasn't played in like 10 weeks since a scary bruise/hit to his spine

Broncs are playing with house money and weren't expected to even win 6 games, but once you are in ya gotta try to make a run.

Make it back today on a parlay with Bills/Eagles Moneyline & Barkley TD.

Tyler Badie?

The guy that couldnt make the Ravens roster?
Yep

He flashed on a few runs(had a 40 yarder?) and got a few starts, then got injured.

I don't quite get it. Maybe Estime did something off the field this week or maybe Sean wants more speed..
Estime is easy to game plan against because he can't read the front to pass block and doesn't seem to know the whole playbook.

Badie is small though so I doubt he can block either.

Ravens roster is a lot better and isn't working with only 60% of their salary cap as we know. So that isn't a surprise to anyone that he couldn't make that squad this year.

The NFL reportedly plans on considering changes to its playoff format during the upcoming offseason, particularly about seeding.

One possible change could see the Wild Card Round home games go to the teams with the highest winning percentage rather than the division winners.

Via NFL insider Jonathan Jones.

Why dont we just scrap divisions, then?

Holy shit Bo Nix! You losing your shit Rambo John J @Rambo John J?!
I stay very even keel

Love it though, Nix took a shot and delivered it perfectly

Nix to Franklin has been open all year deep like that, Franklin dropped 4 or 5 of them so far and that their first go route hook up as Pros.
Gonna open up the running game

The Kid does not have a noodle arm lol.

Denver could very well win this game. Their defense is legit and Nix is playing incredible right now.
