Last week, a friend of mine sent me a profile that was impersonating me, so I reported it. I got an automatic response (as in it took less than a second to receive) from FB saying they "checked" the profile I reported and it was not only fine, but that it wasn't fake.
So excuse if I laugh at anyone from FB acting like they care about any of this shit.

They banned the President of the United States from their platforms, only reinstated his account sometime in 2023, then rolled back "some restrictions" on his account when it was clear he was going to win in July '24. Fuck Zuck, Meta, instagram, Facebook.... Never to be trusted again, not that they should have been trusted in the first place.
He's been quite open their cooperation with current admin + FBI even before the election when it came out.
He's always been a fence sitter, he's not a hardcore democrat.. But he's surrounded by them so obviously is constantly being influenced in that direction.
I completely disagree. He's a straight up communist. He hasn't been "quite open" at any point until today, and even then, there is likely plenty to put him in prison for the rest of his life. All of his banning, shadow banning, fact check bullshit went against conservatives - at his direction. His political donations? Same thing, except maybe a RINO here or there. There is a reason he decided to stay out of the spotlight this round. He knows he fucked up BAD, Trump even mentioned prison, so the gig was up and the writing was on the wall. He's attempting to "change policy" NOW. This could have been done at any point in time. He's doing it now, 2 weeks before Trump takes office. He didn't have a self realization recently. He hasn't changed. Potential prison sentence...yeah, that will make you change course if the threat is real. You heard of Zuckerbucks? Look it up. Fence sitter, not a hardcore democrat? He's left of Lenin.
He isn't a communist. He's a capitalist and he's happy to do whatever he needs to do to make $$, when he thought that was suppressing speech he did that, now when he thinks it's enabling free speech he'll do that.
He cares about $$ above values. He's shown that time and time again.
He probably has no real legal exposure here. The government probably did most of the illegal acts here and he's probably insulated from the few that may have took place Facebook side and would probably only be fined (as a company) anyway.

I gave up on Facebook many years ago but still use Instagram so they don't care.
