Nope. I've been watching and waiting but not a peep anymore. I hope I'm wrong but I think Trump has lost interest and we won't be getting any answers. Hopefully they start swarming Jersey again en masse so it forces a statement out of him.
The guy has been sworn in for just a few days. Give him time.
And I would be fine with that. But I feel he owes it to the people to keep his promise and give us a report. Tell us he's been briefed and it's a national security issue. Or that the Chief of Staff hasn't been able to get a straight answer. We just need some kind of update.
Thats my guess. There is some red tape involved or like you said. Its something.
Hypothetically:
Trump: "Are they our drones?"
Pentagon: "No sir"
Trump: "Are they a foreign power's? China? Russia? Iran?"
Pentagon: "No sir"
Trump: "Then who is sending them? Where do the drones go when you track them?"
Pentagon: "We can't track them sir. They are too advanced for us to intercept and they don't show up on radar or infrared."
Trump: "You mean I have to go and tell the American people we have no idea who is flying them?"
Pentagon: "..........."
He'd have teams up hunting one if we already didn't know. He'd hold it up like a trophy bass.
His disclosure bill last year got gutted so he has an interest.

a) He doesn't have the briefing yet.
b) He has the briefing but the Pentagon is still claiming ignorance. So he doesn't want to go in front of the American people just to say "We have no idea what these are." It would make him and the Pentagon look incompetent.
c) The answer they are giving him is so far out there (aliens?) that he just wants to forget about it and hope everyone stops asking.
