It's fucking insanity. A couple weeks ago, PP was talking about giving the Indian reservations autonomy to do what they want with their land. I had someone tell me this was a complete lie, and that the CPC would never help the Indians. This was actually their way of doing to them what Trump wants to do with Gaza. When I pointed out the LPC's current record with the Indians they told me that it wasn't true.
This same person said they wished we had someone like JT's dad. When I mentioned he wrote the white paper and that Chretien was the second in command on it, that was just a product of people having bad views at their time.
So the CPC has a shot record, so you can't vote for them. The LPC has a worse recent record, but that was just an oopsie daisies. It's fucking insanity.
For the record, I think PP is a carny, but he's the best of the viable candidates.

Carney has the backing of the director of Meta/Instagram Canada , Blackrock Canada . he has backing from the Demerais family and the Irvings .it is kinda amazing PP is doing as well as he is considering the entire deck is stacked against him . the CBC pushes the message that PP is just out to make his rich friends richer and people eat it up because there is literally nobody there to debunk it . the other problem PP has is the canadian right wing media is a joke .
