No idea if this is true, but if so, it'd be a helluva swerve for him to be Chad Gable's luchadore trainer - have him prepare Gable behind the scenes for a match to win against & get revenge on Penta.
Then reveal Rey as his trainer, putting him & Penta in a feud instead of as a tag team. Build on real life situation with a "we're brothers, we're family, we're supposed to always stay together, yet you left & came here without me".
Then let them loose to put on absolute bangers.
