A full blown rebuild feels much better than a few mediocre years with Geno.
Is there a QB the Raiders could get themselves into a position to draft this year though? They may be thinking of Geno as a transition QB to either bring in someone to develop behind him, or tide them over until there's a chance of drafting their franchise QB.

Outside of Ward and Sanders, are there any highly regarded QB prospects?

Dart could be solid.

But on the transitional QB idea for Geno, taking a flyer on Milroe could be the way to go. If you take the exact opposite strategy that Indy took with AR and make him sit, AT MINIMUM, one year while you start to build the line to work with a mobile QB.

Its a risk/reward play... but thats what Baltimore tried to do with Lamar and it worked out well.

I’m a Seahawks fan. That’s the perspective I’m coming from.

The Seattle Seahawks reportedly offered QB Geno Smith and WR DK Metcalf for Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby, before the Raiders shut it down.

Talks between the Raiders and Seahawks continued and eventually led to Geno Smith being traded to Las Vegas for a third-round Draft pick.
