Rapunzel syndrome is a disorder of ingesting hair resulting in bolus of hair formation in stomach called Trichobezoar.

Rapunzel syndrome, characterized by hair ingestion leading to gastrointestinal blockages, is an extremely rare condition, with fewer than 64 documented cases since its identification in 1968, predominantly affecting young females with related psychiatric disorders. Interestingly, the first documented case of a trichobezoar dates back to 1779, showcasing the historical context of this syndrome's recognition.

A trip to Paris, paragliding, or Thanksgiving dinner: California prisons use virtual reality to help inmates in solitary confinement experience emotions and cope with trauma. These VR sessions are highly controlled and used as a type of therapy for the prisoners. The program is being run by a non-profit.

Prisons that have piloted the VR program report a 96% reduction in infractions from incarcerated participants in solitary confinement, according to Creative Acts. Corcoran state prison in rural central California saw the number of infractions of the men in solitary go from 735 to one after one week-long session. One of Corcoran wardens commuted so many solitary confinement sentences that the facility closed one of its four buildings dedicated to the practice.

In 1980, identical triplets Robert Shafran, Eddy Galland and David Kellman were reunited by chance at Sullivan County Community College after being separated at birth

Adopted by different families through the Louise Wise Agency, they were unknowingly part of a controversial nature-versus-nurture study led by Dr. Peter Neubauer. The experiment placed them in families of different socioeconomic classes and monitored their development without informing their adoptive parents of the siblings' existence. Their reunion garnered global attention and inspired the documentary Three Identical Strangers, exposing the unethical experiment behind their separation
