It's estimated that around 9% of the global adult population identifies as LGBTQ+. This includes people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, or asexual. Studies show that a significant portion of this 9% identifies as lesbian or gay (3%) and as bisexual (4%). Additionally, 1% identify as pansexual or omnisexual, and another 1% as asexual

My gaydar has malfunctioned my entire life if this is true. There is no way in fuck that 9% of the people on this planet are gay? No chance. Obviously I’ve met some closeted fruits but 1 out of every 11 people are not gay. 1 out of 100 I could see.

In the last decade I bet the numbers have increased so much because fucking nerds and weirdos that got made fun of their entire lives see a group that is forcing their acceptance on us so they put on a pink boa and prance around even though they aren’t queer. It’s a mental health crisis.

I’ve recently become a total homophobe and I don’t give a flying fuck what anyone thinks.

Maybe 5% at best here and I live in one of the gayest places in NA
