Really? Then why did he get offered the Jones fight and then decide that he needed to be paid a trillion dollars?
He used the same "I don't really want this fight" negotiating tactic for Jones that Jones used for Francis. Neither guy wants the fight, Francis for fear of being wrestle fucked, Jones for fear of having is head taken off. As a result of both of their actions the HW division was crippled and we never got to see the fight.
It was about $$$ for Francis and he did go get paid. Took the Linear HW MMA belt with him. Still is the HW with best claim to best HW MMA fighter on the planet. Tom A being #2.

HW is the division where belts change every other fight and it is nearly impossible to string together wins at the highest level, which is exactly why Jones feels lucky to have won 2 HW fights and doesn't want to test fate.
