Ukrainian Christmas is in January from the 6th to the 19th. We don't celebrate that but we do all the old fashioned stuff my dad grew up with. I'm not totally sure why it's on the 24th but I will be sure to ask him. We also are vegan for the 24th and 25th because it's something that my dad also grew up with. On boxing day it's a full on meat and cheese buffet fuck fest, I gain about 10 lbs that day.

It's normal to me and I enjoy it, if I ever get married I'd like to continue those traditions with my own family.

My gf is a mexican and she was trying to explain it to me. 24th is the day in mexico. But they give gifts on the 6th of January, as that is the day the 3 wise men arrived and gave jesus his frank Murr and gold


In Spain it's the 24th they celebrate too ( which sucks for them, because most tourists celebrate 25th so everything is open the 24th to accommodate them)
