Welcome.. I just wanted to say that I have seen thousands of fighters come and go over the years. But when I think of honor, bushido and fighting spirit, you are at the very top of the list. It's an honor to see you checking out our humble little community here. Just wanted to let you know, I collect a lot of MMA books, and Live as a Man, Die as a Man, Become a Man might be the best one ever written by a fighter. I could read/listen to your stories all day man. You ever consider writing another book one day down the line?
Just curious, do you think there can ever be a boom in Japanese MMA again? Would you say the people got hyped up over the UFC in Japan shows the way they used to over PRIDE? Or is there no comparison?
It just feels very weird and empty to not have huge stadium events in Japan with the world's best fighters... I miss the days of New Year's Eve when you would have 3 or 4 shows all competing on one night. Do yu think those days are over, like MMA was seen as only a fad in Japan? Or does it only need the right push to come back?

Yes I believe there will be another boom but it will take time. No. Pride was a whole different animal.

As long as the UFC continues to frequent Japan I believe a comeback is inevitable.

Thank you bro but it doesn't necessarily make me a good man. That's just where I find my happiness by helping others less fortunate.
Enson- On the JRE Joe told you about Rory Macdonald saying he would never fight GSP. Rory said he'd never stab George in the back after all he's done for him and your response was something very complimentary to Rory IIRC. I can't remember exactly what you said but I was impressed that you put seemed to really respect Rorys decision and didn't even suggest money can motivate or anything of the sort. Do you feel the fighting side of MMA has really taking a back seat to the business with so many now and people are more likely to make decisions based on this?
