Okay campers it's story time. Back when I was in tech school every 10th day you were on base duty.the base was 2 sites. Living side and tech side. Separated by a major public road with a walkway bridge going over it. Anyhow I'm waffling. Near one of the fences there is an old abandoned fort that has, you guessed it, a moat. There are goats that live on there and are protected wildlife. When you are duty you are pretty much a security guard patrolling the fences for breach and checking buildings are secure etc. They equip you with a radio and the brightest flashlight known to man. We are talking 20th century fox kinda light.
Well apparently, it became such a problem, that during the brief at the start of your duty you were ordered not to shine the light at the goats as they would get confused and fall in the moat, sparking a rapid rescue operation as they were some protected goat or some shit. It was a big thing they were cracking down on.
I diddnt mess with the goats though, remember I mentioned the road separating the 2 sites? I used to rapidly flash motorists as the went past and trick them into thinking I was a speed camera
