What if you refuse to sit down? Dont give me your shit it was clearly stated she went in there to stage a silent protest by standing silently. It doesnt matter if you impede one persons view or 1000 its not right. You dont think the people behind her didnt tell her to sit down which she refused? She was allowed in and didnt get escorted out till she made her stand, good for her but what did anyone expect would happen. She was escorted out, not taken out the back door and killed.

What if any of that happened? What if you acknowledged exactly what she said, which is “Salam, I come in peace.”

What if you watched the actual video of EVERYBODY standing up including her?

There IS an actual video and maybe you should watch it instead of inventing scenarios to make it ok she was called a terrorist.

Nope, but I will certainly speak up whenever I do.

The difference between me and quite a few people is that I would defend you as well if it happened at a Hillary function.
I'm not really sure who you're defending here. It happened and it's one of the most reasonable evictions I've heard of. There have been plenty of more unjust removals of protesters than this.

She was protesting Trump at a private Trump rally. Pretty basic to understand reason for being evicted.

As for all this other terrorist shit? where the hell did that come from?
Even if you take the attention whoring words of the protesters themselves, one supporter (single idiot) yelled out " you've got a bomb' (implying it).
Perhaps you don't understand this. The entire crowd turned on her while she was standing by herself. She did NOT make a spectacle other than to just be there. She wasn't standing in front of anyone or 'protesting' insofar as just being there.

As far as it being racist is bullshit, Islam is a religion not a race of people. The right of a group of people to yell is a right that has been upheld by the Supreme Court under freedom of speech. Just because it goes against your theology doesnt make it a crime.

It's an article with an event that I considered worthy of talking about. If we only judged what was worth talking about by only the most important things in the world nobody would ever complain about their shitty morning coffee.

Its called freedom of speech, which applies to everyone right or wrong. Thats why the KKK is allowed to protest in front of government buildings. It applies to everyone, not just people that happen to agree with you.

Did somebody mention racism? It is certainly xenophobia and stereotyping. The problem is that it doesn't go against your 'theology'. Quite a bit of shit isn't a crime, including shitting in the stall outside of the toilet.

I understand you're talking about it and find the discussion interesting, I'm just pointing out that you've used the word "defend" inaccurately....and you may be a victim of media bias skewing your perception of events.

This works both ways. Others have freedom to call you an asshole. Enjoy the high-level discourse.

Or perhaps you're looking at the term 'defend' incorrectly. I fail to understand how this is confusing. I find the level of discourse disgusting and said so. This has nothing to do with media anything, this has to do with my personal belief how people should be treated.

Maybe you're right and I don't understand the concept "to defend," well who are you "defending" then?
How do you know how this person was treated? I'm assuming your opinion is based on what was reported and if that is the case then how can you be sure of the veracity of the reports on her treatment? If you saw it all happen in person then my apologies as I am then clearly off-base.

They absolutely do. Whats your point? Im not the one trying to push my morality on others like yourself.
Did you just invent a talking point? How EXACTLY are you being pushed into anything? You are stating you viewpoint and I am stating mine. I can see by your morals you could give one shit about whether someone is called a terrorist or is evicted for being different than everybody else in a crowd. Nobody is pushing you into jack shit. I'm the guy who would prevent people from jumping the KKK at a rally, that's the difference between us. I wouldn't be the one saying they brought it on themselves.

There is a video. I see us normalizing xenophobia more and more every day. I just don't like it. This isn't about muslims, this is about who we are as Americans.

Yet you are saying that the people were wrong, something i havent said at all. I actually said good for her for doing what she did, but what did she expect to happen? Calling someone wrong for believing differently is pushing your morality on others.

This was about muslims or her response wouldnt have been to show people what a peaceful MUSLIM looks like. She could have just said a peacefull person but she had to differentiate herself.

How so? I can't follow that train of thought. Calling someone wrong is 'pushing' something? At what level is something right or wrong to you? Does it require a death or is everything okie-dokie as long as someone believes something different than you? Are muslim beliefs ok with you or can you call them wrong?

I'm not talking about her, I'm talking about me.

When is it a crime to show a group of people what a peaceful muslim look like?

Well I do agree with you in a sense but it's not just Muslims, it's pretty much everyone that has been pigeonholed into a certain type and that certainly does make sober discourse a challenge. So how many people were shouting xenophobic insults at her?

So calling her a terrorist with 'you got a bomb' is pretty respectful? Wearing a 'peace to you' shirt is the same as wearing a Hillary 4 Prez shirt?

Her purpose was to show herself as a peaceful Muslim (which she said). It's only others who keep changing this.....
Who called her a terrorist and said "you got a bomb"? One random hick in the crowd? It sucks, but people say shitty things all the time and the person who said that was a fellow spectator who has no association with Trump and the people putting off the event, other than being a supporter.

Saying that her purpose was to show herself as a peaceful Muslim is oversimplifying. You know the difference. She was making a direct protest to the stance Donald Trump has taken on Muslims coming into America. And don't get me wrong, that's perfectly fine, but if you go to a politician's political rally to protest that politician, chances are you're going to be ejected. That's just how it goes.

And that's not even bringing up the fact that it's a stupid protest on her fault. Donald never said all muslims are terrorists and are incapable of being peaceful. He took his stance based on the fact that he feels opening up the American border to Muslims opens up the possibility of ISIS members/supports infiltrating America. He's not saying all Muslims are bad, he's saying he doesn't want the bad ones to come over.

It's fine to disagree with and hate his stance. Do I agree with his stance? No. But people who get on with this shit about Trump being "racist" against middle easterners... it's real libtard shit. It's intellectually void, banal nonsense. That stupid chick should have been thrown out.

Don't really know, that part was media fodder. It was just reported that it happened.

I'm watching this stuff spiral out of control, and as I said, we shouldn't allow this to become normal behavior. Hatred is becoming the new norm, and as Americans we need to say something about it.

I'm not sure I didn't count, but I'm also sure that the guy shouting 'white power' in another one of his rallies wasn't associated either. The crowd that didn't say anything about it wasn't associated either. It's all just ok. I'm sure it would be at a Hillary rally too, nobody on the right would say anything.

Yea, having a shirt that says 'I come in peace' is real dirtbag shit.

Nope, he just wants all muslims to foot the bill. THAT'S the problem.

Be serious.. The 'some of them are good people', bagging pants black man tweeting, ban all muslims who have jack shit to do with any of this guy?

They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

do you have evidence that it didnt happen?
How about you look at the actual video? Perhaps instead of imagining a gathering of people sitting quietly and one person standing up causing a ruckus, you should actually imagine what a rally looks like. It was a bunch of people screaming and standing.
