I'm all about watching that BT now. I love UK "adverts". (that's what y'all call em, right? Or am I tripping?)
We do but ads will also do ;)

BT has a looooot of trashy adverts especially around that hour

EDITED: Spelling errors curtsey of my fat thumb & autocorrect combo.

I'm in the UK so I don't have to pay for it...its on BT sport...which I have got downstairs...but I usually just stream it so I can watch it from my room...events start at 3:00am :expressionless:

Which is another reason I'd never pay for a PPV...I don't know how that model stuck around there tbh.

Fighter pay and general lack of giving a shit as well as their lack of transparency are just frosting on the cake.
Are you on virgin or sky?

Virgin, with the internet and phone.
Virgin offer an on the go service, I think with most TV packages, that will allow you to register devices for you to stream a certain number of their channels over the internet. With that you could register whatever device you are watching with upstairs and stream BT Sports. It's better quality than all the free streams.

Applying an assumption to your "fly" comment....I haven't had fight pass since the beginning of last year but can you still VPN to a country where the PPV is cheaper and buy the PPV from that region via fight pass?....or did that get fixed?

We all wanted this to happen. Watching UFC 196 will no longer require you to pay for the PPV via MMAJunkie.

My question is- is it still called UFC 196 or is it changed to Fight Night? If it's not called 196, is UFC 200 still technically UFC 200? Interesting scenario here.
I think it should be called UFC 196- Championship ducking

$50-$60 dollars lol? Is that really how much you guys have to pay?

F**k that.
yep.. I pay 59.99 each month unless I'm at the event live, then of course I pay a bunch more

It's funny... When I go to a PPV event, when I get my bill and don't have to pay that extra 59.99, I get all excited even though I paid way more to be there lol

Is an absolute dream of mine to go to an event even a fight night but the money situation ain't to great for me at the minute, bills left right and centre.

I get the impression you guys like the spectacle of overpaying.

Tipping etc.
Yeah, tipping is an interesting one. For jobs that regularly receive tips, their normal wages are lowered and taxed to the point where the tips are most of their paycheck. The problem with that is that not everyone tips, and almost nobody knows how low the servers' baseline salaries are.

The only people in America that never overpay are the employers. Free market capitalism, ladies and gentlemen.

This is inaccurate.

Everyone who isn't black tips. How much each person tips varies from person to person and from industry to industry, but every non-black person regularly tips, unless they get terrible service. Tourists who don't understand our system also don't tip, but I am just talking about citizens/residents of this country.

And no, this isn't racist, it's honest. Ask anyone who has worked in the food service industry.

Edit - I should have said that poor, uneducated people don't tip. That is a more accurate assessment.
