Like I said "Mourir" in French and "Morrer" in Portugese are the same literal and contextual word. There are words for down in both languages and if it came from South American Soccer, it means die, the contextual explanation is a protective cop out to me.

It could very well be that. I don't know enough about Portugese to really form an opinion.

Nunes vs Cat is one of my Favorite WMMA fights and she looked super tough. As usual I'll root for the old school as I feel she can't afford a loss again. Just want a good competitive scrap so they can both come out pleasing the fans.

Also they hurl death threats at fighters they don't like so I don't think it's a stretch really. I translate professionally into and out of French, which is not to say I am an expert in Portugese but the grammar is very similar.

If they use it as a contextual expression they really chose something with terrible optics.

Perhaps I'm uneducated...but the name 'Silva' is more predominant in Brazil than 'Smith, Jones, and Davis' COMBINED here in 'Murica'!
