
It's been 15 months and CM Punk still doesn't have a fight scheduled, though he was briefly tied to one with Mickey Gall before he suffered an injury.
One person that is still not a fan of the whole idea is UFC announcer Joe Rogan. On his recent podcast, he discussed the issue of Punk with Bas Rutten, and he thinks Punk should have made his debut outside of the UFC:
"I don't know what's going to happen with that guy. I don't understand this whole thing. Well, I also think it's ridiculous for him to fight in the UFC. I think he should fight in a small organization. Take a fight in a small organization, build yourself up. I have always said that's what should have happened with Brock Lesnar."
