Rafael dos Anjos has been forced to withdraw from next week's highly-anticipated UFC 196 main event fight against Conor McGregor.

According to multiple sources, dos Anjos suffered a broken foot late last week, forcing him to pull out of the lightweight title fight against McGregor. The UFC is currently working on finding a replacement to fight McGregor on less than two weeks' notice, however, nothing has been finalized at this time.

It's déjà vu all over again for McGregor. Last summer, then-featherweight championJose Aldo withdrew from his fight against the Irishman just eleven days before UFC 189. Of course, back then, the UFC adjusted quickly and booked Chad Mendes to fight McGregor and the event went off without a hitch. Furthermore, this marks the fourth time in McGregor's eight UFC fights that his original opponent was forced to pull out of their fight.

Broken foot apparently. They're trying to find a replacement but apparently Frankie "begging for a shot at Conor" Edgar is unavailable.

What the fuk!
I would love for the UFC make him go back down and face Frankie but I somehow doubt that.
So if they keep Mcgregor on the card, who you wanna see him against?
Surely Cerrone's ready to go again if he didn't celebrate too hard, that would be a fun fight.
Khabib must be half healthy by now, and half-health is all he would need...

If at 55, call Nate Diaz, Tony Ferguson, Eddie Alvarez, or any other top 5-8 LW... Or Frankie Edgar.

45.... Frankie Edgar or Jose Aldo.... No one else deserves the call now

Hell at this point call Uriah Faber and see if he wants the shot

Edgar is dealing with an injury, but if Aldo was serious about moving up to 155 if he'd beaten Mcgregor, why not :)

but I would prefer to see Alvarez if it's short notice, as he's talking so much shit about Mcgregor being an easy fight, and just a launched tirade about how he would blanket Nate Diaz for the entire 25minutes so he couldn't even land 1 punch :D

Nate ain't a bad choice as a standin either, and he also called out Mcgregor after his last fight

Not Tony tho, he's got Khabib and we need that fight

It's like he's never trained for a professional MMA fight in his life...
It's 2 weeks out, within this time u just work on cardio, very light sparring, go thru yur strategy. Not going 100 fucking percent where u can break something. These injuries can be avoided by training smart. Smh
