Is anyone that surprised that another main event gets blown up due to injury? It's one of the main problems with MMA that we don't see from other sports. Even in boxing this rarely happens. If Tom Brady gets injured, it's not like the Patriots don't still play the next weekend. But with MMA, the entire competition gets thrown out the window when one fighter gets hurt.

the biggest fight in boxing history was a total joke because one fighter fought injured.

I'd rather wait than see a guy compete while injured and lose a one sided fight.

can they trust him though? he barely trained for the RDA fight and stunk up the show
The Diaz brothers may lose some fights but they always make the walk. Nate will show up and make weight. Would he win? No idea, but fight week would be ridiculously entertaining.

Give him Cowboy. 2 weeks rest is more than enough.
he's gotta make the weight cut too and might not be able to reach his peak, which would be a big disadvantage

I'm not against the fight, but if he lost badly it would raise some doubts about whether he should have been in there

If u think about its kinda of genius, make Conor earn it let him beat or are deals with another 155er. He should've had to to beat a top 5 LW to fight for the belt anyways.

The McNugget fanboys are probably pissed, it's the ultimate troll.

Oh though, I've been looking toward this fight.

There isn't enough time for anyone to be in fighting shape if people are honest with themselves. The thing people forget about short notice fights is that right now, you're working on weight, and fine tuning game plans. Conor changing opponents certainly isn't ideal, but it's very different from the starting point anyone coming off the couch is going to have.
